identifies means to accesses additional reserves by enhancing and increasing oil production. With EOR and water flooding techniques, 30 to 60 percent or more of the reservoir’s original oil can be extracted compared to 20 to 40 percent using pri- mary recovery.
We encourage the attendance of interested parties from across all disciplines and from various levels and years of experience. Hence, this convention is partially aimed to create dialogue between those of who have been involved in the industry for 10 years or more, and young entrepreneurs who are new to the field, especially pertaining to EOR and Wa- ter Flooding. This in turn, will generate more fruitful exchange of knowledge and experi- ence in a much neglected section of the in- dustry, that of EOR and Water Flooding.
